Do Shoes Come on Pallets ?
Certainly an interesting question, but also the title to our latest award winner, the Yodgee Footwear South Melbourne Market Store !
The whole store is made out of a single material : recycled shipping pallets , and it is wholeheartedly embracing sustainability in its entirety.
The project has won three categories at the 2020 'Design Matters National' Awards : (1) Winner Special Project, (2) Winner Interior Design (Commercial) , and (3) Winner in Best Use of Recycled materials. If you'd like to see more images of this, head over to "on our Facebook page"

Working on this exciting home at the moment : "The Bond House, Brighton". You wonder why it's called the 'Bond House'? Because that was part of the exciting briefing, to create a James Bond inspired home, on a challenging site with amazing sea views, here in Brighton.
We've been successful in getting a planning permit for it - even though we've been pushing boundaries front left and center - so that is a great milestone reached. Now to regroup and enter the next stages - can't wait for this one to come to life from the 3D renders. Follow this space :-)

This gorgeous contemporary residence in inner-city Melbourne was to be the owners’ dream home and energy efficiency was non-negotiable. Determined to include passive Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) principles to reduce the need for artificial heating and cooling, and combat condensation, the owners tasked Melbourne Design Studios with this stunning project.
